Meet the Team
Sue (Director & Senior Teacher)
Along with the skills and knowledge that come with over 30 years of teaching experience, Sue keeps us all up to date with contemporary issues in early childhood through her love of the written word. She has two children, two granddaughters and a great sense of humour.
Mel (Teacher and Educational Leader)
Mel is an experienced and passionate early childhood teacher with a genuine love for kindy aged children. With four children of her own, Mel brings a wealth of practical parenting knowledge to her role.
Cathy has a warm and comforting nature and has years of experience supporting children to settle into a smooth routine. Cathy is a mother of three with an observant and insightful nature.
Lynne’s organisation and efficiency keeps the program running smoothly, and offers comfort and predictability for the children. Lynne has three children of her own and two grandchildren.
Michelle’s enthusiasm and gentle nature makes for a caring and nurturing educator at our centre.
Melissa’s calm and kind approach is comforting and welcoming for all children. She is passionate in her role as an integration assistant and additional educator.
Donna (Administration Assistant)
Donna has a wealth of experience in office administration but more importantly she offers families a warm welcome to our beautiful Kindergarten, which her own two children attended.
Megan’s association with Memorial Park began with her four children attending the centre. Her involvement with the centre has evolved from parent to committee member to treasurer; she is currently our thorough and highly valued bookkeeper.
Marnie’s innate enthusiasm and hands-on skills have inspired many practical projects around the Kindergarten. As a mother of three Marnie is skilled at relating to children as individuals with unique learning styles and personalities.
Raina Carvell (Educator)
Raina has a wealth of experience in early education as a teacher aide in both Queensland and Victorian schools. Specialising in supporting children with additional needs, her gentle caring nature aids in bulding one on one relationships in the classroom.
Kate Chant (Nominated Supervisor)
Kate is passionately committed to the preservation of the essence and culture of the “community” within our centre. As a mother of 4 she values and promotes team work and family as our underlying culture.
